Your body is the portal to presence, always here now.
I engage with the movement practice of asana as a means to create intimacy between mind, body and spirit. These internal relationships are the foundations of health. Remember the word yoga means to yolk or connect!
The challenge...
We live in a culture that educates and trains us to divorce from our bodies. We act as colonizers inside of our skins, demanding our vessels to look and do certain things without listening to the wisdom that they possess. Learning to hear is a radical shift that we get to make on our way to intuitive, aligned living.
I’ve been teaching yoga for over twenty years, and my personal practice grows daily, shifting with the tides of life. As a student of yoga, I’ve sat in many trainings, ranging from ashtanga to restorative, and I’ve facilitated others. I love to offer movement in the community as an access point to my work, and I hope that you will join one of my classes, or retreat experiences. I am also available for private and corporate sessions.
