The Inbodied Life Therapists

Jaclyn Udell, ACSW

$250/session w/ sliding scale available

I’m Jaclyn, I received a Bachelor of Arts from Georgetown University and a MSW from Tulane’s School of Social Work. I’ve been an Associate Clinical Social Worker practicing psychotherapy for 4 years with Lauren, as my trusted clinical supervisor. Two years ago, I became a mother, and the life experience has opened the doors to my current focus area, which is supporting women who are in what I call their matrescence arc. My definition of matrescence is the feminine shift in identity that arises from the potential to become a mother. So, if you’re betwixt & between feeling ready to embark on the passage of motherhood, actively aspiring to create new life, beginning to add mother to their identity, or expanding who you mother, I hold each of these thresholds as pivotal moments in your life. Together, we’ll keep you as the protagonist of your story, and create space to explore all the tendrils of your experience.

Yan Katz

$250/50 min session w/ sliding scale available

Hi, I’m Yan Katz, a dedicated psychotherapist at Inbodied Life Therapy, specializing in trauma healing, mood disorders, burnout, ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, and helping high achievers find deeper fulfillment. Originally from the former Soviet Union, I immigrated to the United States at age three and built a successful 20-year career in finance and the music industry before pursuing my calling for a Masters in Clinical Counseling in service of supporting others in overcoming personal and professional challenges. Today I offer a holistic, trauma-informed approach that integrates existential, psychodynamic, somatic, psychodrama, Gestalt, and inner child modalities. Drawing from two decades of personal inner work, I provide empathetic, insightful guidance to professionals, executives, and creatives who feel unfulfilled despite their accomplishments, helping them reconnect with inner strength, purpose, and meaning. My expertise in ketamine-assisted psychotherapy supports profound emotional and psychological growth.

Justin Wilford

$300/55 min session

I work with leaders, professionals, and seekers who sense that their next stage of growth lies within. My approach is grounded in Internal Family Systems (IFS), a mindfulness-based modality that helps people connect with the different parts of their inner world and reconnect with their core, authentic Self. I also developed the OPEN Method, a guided awareness practice that helps clients gently unpack protective patterns, heal emotional wounds, and access clarity, calm, and creativity.

I hold two PhDs, from UCLA and UC Irvine, and began my career translating mental health research into practical tools for families facing serious medical conditions. After my son’s brain tumor diagnosis in 2011, my wife and I cofounded MaxLove Project, a childhood cancer nonprofit — an experience that reshaped my path.

Since 2014, I’ve trained in IFS, mindfulness, breathwork, and coaching, and lead retreats and practice communities. My clients experience greater clarity, authenticity, and connection in their work and relationships.

Emily Holland, LCSW

$300/50 min session w/ sliding scale available

Hi, I’m Emily, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in San Diego. I work with adults navigating trauma, depression, anxiety, and life transitions, with a special focus on parents and those carrying the weight of complex family dynamics.

My style is warm, steady, and grounded—I hold space for the deep work of untangling old patterns while also helping you find practical ways to feel relief in daily life.

I’m trained in Perinatal Mental Health and Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), and I bring my experience as both a mother and a long-time medical social worker into our work together. My hope is that you leave each session feeling more seen, supported, and connected to yourself.
